The publicly funded flights between Cardiff and Ynys Mon have been scrapped, after the Welsh Government decided the £2.9m spent each year on the service could be better used to improve public transport.
The Public Service Obligation (PSO) air service had been suspended since March 2020 due to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. Welsh ministers have now decided not to re-start the service.
