Rapid charging network InstaVolt is cracking down on crime following a spate of cable cutting incidents that has left chargers unusable.
InstaVolt has seen more than 20 EV charging sites across the Midlands and Yorkshire targeted by gangs since November. The cost is running into hundreds of thousands of pounds.
