ICO reminds businesses of the legal requirement to pay the data protection fee

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is reminding businesses of the legal requirement to pay the data protection fee, unless exempt.

The Data Protection (Charges and Information) Regulations 2018 requires any business electronically handling personal information, such as names and addresses, to register with the ICO and pay the fee.
