Rotala has bought Preston Bus from Stagecoach for £3.2m in a deal which will see it expand its operating territory from its current bases in the Midlands and the West Country.
The disposal has been forced on Stagecoach by a Competition Commission ruling, triggered after the group bought Preston Bus in January 2009 following a two-year bus war in the town.
