Stagecoach HAS announced the launch of new services in North Devon as FirstGroup announced it is to cease operating in the area.
Stagecoach is adding a dozen vehicles to its 50-strong fleet at Barnstaple to deliver new services that will be launched in September. The operator last month pulled out of a proposed £2.8m acquisition of First’s Barnstaple-based operations after the Office of Fair Trading announced it was referring the takeover to the Competition Commission.
