FirstGroup has sold its Wigan bus business to Stagecoach as part of its drive to raise £100m from sales in its bus operations.
The sale includes Wigan bus depot, leased premises at Wigan bus station, around 120 vehicles and the transfer of approximately 300 employees to Stagecoach for the sum of £12m.
