Frustration with Network Rail

MPs and council officers are frustrated at delays to a new car park at one of North Wales’ busiest stations.

The car park will be built on the former goods yard at Bangor station. Officers at Gwynedd Council say they have a good relationship with Network Rail on a project to improve a bridge near Porthmadog, for which Network Rail has offered £5m, but progress at Bangor is “disappointing”.
