Transport secretary Geoff Hoon and Mayor of London Boris Johnson have given the go-ahead for the East London Line extension to Clapham Junction station. The 11.2km route will run from Surrey Quays to Clapham Junction station via Queens Road, Peckham Rye, Denmark Hill, Clapham High Street and Wandsworth stations.
