A number of West Yorkshire bus routes threatened by withdrawal will continue in some form after 19 July, according to Metro, the West Yorkshire PTE.
Following talks, operator First has agreed to continue running a number of the services it planned to cut and Metro says two other routes will be picked up by other commercial operators.
The PTE will fund some other threatened services. Bradford Metropolitan District Council has meanwhile deferred some work on bus infrastructure improvements...
