South Wales parking enforcers forge links

A formative parking partnership between two councils in South Wales is set to extend to neighbouring authorities, writes Patrick McDonnell

It may be the smallest authority in South Wales, but Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking to build partnerships with its larger neighbours. The council’s ambitious plan began in July, since when it has exported parking expertise to neighbour Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, which has a population four times the size.
