The four regional transport consortia in Wales are setting their own rates for the new grant that replaced Bus Service Operators Grant (BSOG) for commercial services from this week.
Under the Welsh Government’s reforms, the previous BSOG and Local Transport Services Grant have been wrapped into one grant known as Regional Transport Services Grant (RTSG). This will be worth £25m in 2013/14, significantly less than was provided in 2012/13.
