Responsibility for parking enforcement across North Yorkshire passes from the police to the county council on 30 May.
Enforcement on the public highway and local authority off-street car parks will be managed by Scarborough Borough Council, covering Ryedale, Hambleton and Richmondshire. Harrogate will be responsible for enforcement in Craven, Selby and Harrogate.
