Trolleybus to cut Leeds commuting times

Passengers on the northern arm of the proposed Leeds trolleybus will save up to 14 minutes on their journeys into Leeds city centre when the system opens in 2020, according to project promoters Metro and Leeds City Council.

The inbound am peak journey time from Bodington park-and-ride to the city centre is forecast to be 14 faster than current bus services and the outbound journeys in the pm peak will be 12 minutes quicker. There is no direct comparison for the 14-minute am peak trolleybus...
