Many local authorities in Wales have failed to complete speed limit reviews of their roads, eight months after the Welsh Government’s deadline for conducting the work.
In 2009 the Welsh Government issued new guidelines on limits that stated: “Highway authorities are asked to review the speed limits on all of their A and B roads, and implement any necessary changes, by 31 December 2014 in accordance with this guidance.”
