The Sirhowy Enterprise Way opened to traffic on 23 December. The 4.7km single carriageway road runs from the A472 to the A4048 and links the areas of Blackwood, Oakdale and Pontllanfraith. It includes the recently named 227-metre-span cable-stayed 'Chartist Bridge' over the River Sirhowy.
