Caerphilly County Borough Council is inviting tenders from shortlisted contractors for the contract to build the Bargoed bypass. The 2.2km single carriageway road, through the former Bargoed Colliery tip site, would link the A469 at Lewis School, Pengam with Station Road, Bargoed and provide links to Bargoed town centre and Aberbargoed.
