Edinburgh bans pavement A boards

The City of Edinburgh Council is to impose a city-wide ban on temporary on-street advertising structures, including A boards and box-type signs. The council says the ban will make it easier for pedestrians to move about, in particular the visually impaired and wheelchair users.
