The boss of FirstGroup’s bus operations in the Bristol area has written an open letter apologising for the dreadful service on two of the Metrobus bus rapid transit routes since the start of the year.
James Freeman, managing director of First West of England, said congestion, particularly in the northern fringe of the conurbation, was to blame for the disruption to the m1 and m3 metrobus routes.
