Stroud District Council has warned drivers not to use suspicious QR stickers to pay for parking.
Parking patrol officers have discovered stickers with the scam QR (quick response) codes on council-owned pay & display machines. The scam stickers have been removed from the machines.
Stroud District Council said: "The QR codes have been stuck to ticket machines, and link mobile phones to a website which charges users to park, using credit or debit cards.
