Plans for a direct rail link between Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham have been revived by Midlands Connect.
A direct rail service used to exist between Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham, but the link was severed in the early 2000s when the West Coast Main Line was upgraded through Nuneaton.
