Flint aims to divert traffic onto under-used bridge

Local authorities are pressing for trunking of the A548 over the little-used Flintshire Bridge to ease traffic congestion.

Taith, the transport consortium of six North Wales unitary authorities, wants to be involved in debates about roads in Merseyside and West Cheshire to ensure North East Wales’ needs are met.
