Hundreds of Plymouthians, along with members of the Unite trade union will turn out in force on Saturday to demonstrate at Plymouth City Council’s proposal to sell off the local bus company CityBus.
Transport group Go Ahead has been selected as favoured bidder for the business and will pay £20m to acquire the 180-vehicle business.
