RATP on look-out for more bus firms in UK

Paris-based transport group RATP is looking for new expansion opportunities in the UK after taking ownership of 880-vehicle London United Buses and 120-vehicle Bournemouth Yellow Buses afterTransdev’s merger with Veolia.

The businesses passed to the company’s international arm RATP Dev in March in part payment for its 25% stake in Transdev, and have already been added to with the acquisition of a 30-vehicle sightseeing operation based in Bath.
