Halcrow and Fairhurst in £2 million win for A82 upgrade

A joint venture between Halcrow and Fairhurst has won a £2 million framework agreement to take forward plans for an upgrade of a 16km section of the A82 in Scotland.

Halcrow, the CH2M HILL company, and engineering consultancy Fairhurst, were appointed by Transport Scotland in a single supplier framework agreement to carry out investigations, appraisal, design, and reporting of options for upgrading the A82 between Tarbet and a point north of Inverarnan.
