Passenger kilometres are down by 5.6%, says Grand Central

 

Open access train operator Grand Central saw a significant fall in passenger numbers in the first quarter of 2016-17, as did two major commuter train operating companies (TOCs). The latest bulletin from the Office of Rail and Road reveals that, on the National Rail network as a whole, season ticket journeys reduced for the fourth quarter in succession.
