Government looking to legislate on use of e-scooters, Haigh tells MPs

Transport secretary Louise Haigh has indicated that the government intends to legislate on e-scooters when it can find parliamentary time.

Haigh told the House of Commons’ Transport Select Committee on 13 November that she recognised the role e-scooters can play in an integrated transport strategy but that uncertainty about their legal status had gone on for too long.
