Scots electric charge points ‘lying unused’

Almost half of Scotland’s electric vehicle charging points did not charge a single vehicle in the month of August last year, according to figures obtained by the RAC Foundation. Of the 482 units in the ChargePlace Scotland network, 217 (45%) did not record a charging event. In all, 2,885 charging sessions were recorded in the month.
