The England’s Economic Heartland (EEH) strategic alliance has set out the minimum powers and responsibilities that a sub-national transport body (STB) for the area should seek to hold.

The EEH now covers eight local authority areas: Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, and Cambridgeshire.
