Covid ‘may force ENCTS rethink’

The impact of Covid-19 on the public finances may force the Government to end the policy of free off-peak bus travel for older and disabled people, Hampshire County Council believes.

Conservative-controlled Hampshire wants the policy changed so that English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passholders make a contribution to the cost of their travel.
