The board of rail and bus operator Go-Ahead has accepted a takeover bid from a consortium made up of Australian bus operator Kinetic and Spanish highways and rail business Globalvia.
The consortium will buy all of the company’s shares at 1,500 pence each, equalling a total value of £647.7m.
The board is recommending to shareholders to vote in favour of the acquisition, which is expected to be completed October 2022.
