Bus services in Wales get £46m funding boost, but some routes set to go

The Welsh Government has pledged extra funding in a bid to save the majority of bus services in Wales.

Deputy climate change minister Lee Waters said that the new Bus Transition Fund would replace the Bus Emergency Scheme (BES), which comes to an end in late July.

Waters said that the Welsh Government is offering £46m to support BES and Bus Transition Fund arrangements for this financial year.
