The roll-out of ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging devices is at a record level, according to Zapmap’s new year-end figures for EV chargepoint installations in 2024.
The chargepoint mapping service’s newly published figures for chargepoints installed across the UK over the past 12 months reveal the highest growth being seen in ultra-rapid (150kW+) devices and charging hubs designed for drivers looking to recharge their vehicle as quickly as possible on longer journeys.
