A tourism association has rescued a rural Sunday bus service and set up a supporters’ club, in recognition of the service’s benefits for local traders.

Herefordshire Council’s decision to withdraw subsidy for the Sunday and bank holiday service between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye prompted a public meeting in May, at which businesses and residents donated funds to allow new ways of running the service to be explored.
