Two years on, First South Yorkshire staff vote on strikes again

TWO YEARS after holding the longest continuous bus industry strike in 30 years, staff at First’s South Yorkshire bus business are being balloted for a further stoppage.

Following a series of protracted negotiations between the operator and the T&G union over this year’s pay review, the operator has tabled an above-inflation pay increase.
